Sansin introduced the Eco2 line in 2012. It has been offered as a limited-edition stain and is available in standard colors of lava, adobe and charcoal.

Some custom colors may be considered for the exterior and clears for the interior of special philanthropy projects, Sansin said.

Based in Strathroy, Ontario, Sansin researches, develops and manufactures environmentally friendly, waterborne interior and exterior wood products and technologies. The company says its stains employ water, not oil, to deeply penetrate and protect wood naturally.
