BarrierPro 4551 is highly water resistant, with high strength and medium flexibility, and provides less than one perm MVTR as measured by ASTM E-96, according to the company.

Other Recent Additions

The polymer joins other recent styrene-butadiene latex introductions, including Tylac 4193, a flexible cement modification latex developed to enhance adhesion and flexibility of cementitious membranes and coatings; and BarrierPro 4555, a highly flexible, water-resistant latex designed for damp proofing applications.

Based in Charlotte, NC, Mallard Creek Polymers is a privately held specialty chemical company offering a diverse line of emulsion polymers for a variety of industries, including adhesives, paint, specialty coatings, textiles, carpet, sealants, construction, and paper.
