Specialty chemicals company Clariant (Muttenz, Switzerland) has unveiled a new additive made for the tribological enhancement of electrostatic powder coatings.

AddWorks IBC 251 is a new “tribo enhancing” additive that works with a broad range of resins in powder-coating applications, according to Clariant. It is compatible with polyesters and polyester/epoxy binders, among others, the company notes.
