LED Gun Light Made for Blasting Work

FRIDAY, AUGUST 30, 2013

Larson Electronics, a supplier of explosion-proof lighting equipment, has unveiled an LED blasting-gun light built for abusive operating conditions.

The low-voltage Magnalight BLG-LED-7W Hazardous Location LED Blasting Gun Light "is designed for high power and extreme durability" and provides an alternative to incandescent blasting gun lights, according to Larson.

Features and Characteristics

According to the manufacturer, the entire assembly is IP66 rated waterproof and can withstand exposure to high-pressure water jets without moisture intrusion into the housing, making it suitable for use in wet locations.

The lamp assembly mounts to any standard media blasting gun using an aluminum mounting assembly (included) that is designed for easy and secure installation.
