Last month, global manufacturer and designer of hydrodemolition technology Aquajet held a European World Tour event in Germany to provide educational presentations about the company’s equipment and hydrodemolition methods.
Approximately 70 customers from eight different countries, including Germany, Switzerland, France, Belgium, Norway, Italy, the United Kingdom and Australia, attended the event on June 5-6. According to the emailed press release, Aquajet’s German distributor Brokk Germany hosted the tour in Friedenweiler, Germany.
“It’s an exciting time for hydrodemolition. Technology is rapidly advancing, there is a greater demand for the services and a readiness to replace handheld methods with safer, more automated processes,” said Roger Simonsson, Aquajet Managing Director.
“Many new customers joined us at the event with great enthusiasm for hydrodemolition. We spent a lot of time discussing applications and challenges and the potential for hydrodemolition solutions.”

In addition to the presentations, participants were provided networking opportunities, as well as a preview of new product features that will be launched later this year. The tour also offered training on how users can maximize productivity and achieve the best results with the equipment.
Attendees reportedly had the opportunity to see Aqua Cutter Hydrodemolition robots and a variety of accessories, including the Circular Power Head, Rotolance, dual and triple nozzles, the Extension Kit and Aqua Spine. They also got to experience the silent operation of the Ecosilence high-pressure pump and see the EcoClear wastewater treatment system work with Aqua Cutters.

Aquajet adds that it demonstrated different hydrodemolition scenarios by request, such as a blow-through, so the group could analyze conditions, settings and other factors.
“There was an overwhelmingly positive reaction to the event,” Simonsson said. “We always enjoy the opportunity to interact with customers and learn how we can expand our offering to address even more of their applications.”
