Presenter: Bill Medford Inspec, Inc. William M. Medford has over 40 years of experience in the protective coating industry. He has extensive knowledge of industrial coatings especially in the transportation sector where he spent 30 years with North Carolina DOT evaluating and specifying industrial coatings. He has focused on Green technologies such as waterborne direct to metal coatings and thermal spray zinc and aluminum coatings which have been used by NCDOT for the past eighteen years. His understanding of coating systems and their specific characteristics qualifies him to conduct specialized training with government agencies, Engineers and Certified Contractors. He has recently been conducting training classes in the application and inspection thermal spray and other industrial coating used for Transportation, Marine, Oil and Military purposes. He has worked as a technical auditor for the Society for Protective Coatings (SSPC) and has been a SSPC instructor for the Thermal Spray Operator/Inspector Course.
