StondriMVT, new from Stonhard, is a high-solids epoxy system formulated to suppress excess moisture in concrete before an overlayment.
Suitable for existing concrete or new construction, the epoxy polymer primer system prevents concrete floor moisture vapor issues such as delaminating, blisters or pinholes, according to Stonhard.

The product can be used under any Stonhard system in all industrial and commercial environments, the company says.

Uses, Features
The product is formulated for use under all Stonhard products, as well as other floor systems where issues caused by moisture vapor are a concern. Stondri MVT is formulated to be suitable in "green" concrete applications in all industrial and commercial environments.
Packaged in units for easy handling, one unit will cover about 300 square feet over a relatively smooth substrate at 15-16 mils, according to product literature. (The product's performance will be limited if applied thickness at less than 15 mils, the company says.)
Stondri MVT can be applied using a 15 mil notched rubber squeegee and cures in four hours for a "tack-free surface and recoat," according to the company.
