Plexicoat America LLC, a global supplier of industrial and marine flooring systems, has introduced the PlexiCrete Polymer Concrete Kit, a quick repair mortar for concrete.
Distributed by PPG Protective and Marine Coatings, the 100% solids MMA polymer concrete can be used to fill and level damaged interior and exterior concrete, pour curbs, slope floors and restore concrete.
The concrete cures fully and is ready for service in 60 minutes; can be installed in low temperatures; and is three times stronger than concrete, Plexicoat says.
Typical Properties
After 60 minutes, the material typically features these properties:
• Tensile Strength (ASTM D638): 1150 psi
• Compressive Strength (ASTM D638): 9000 psi
• Flexural Strength (ASTM D2393): 2500 psi
• Lineal Shrinkage: <0.2%
