Acquiring Tecor Finishing Solutions expands Blast-One’s reach into the engineered blasting and spray painting room markets. |
Blast-One calls Tecor Finishing Solutions “a trusted leader for environmental health and regulation compliance, often delivering results surpassing [Occupational Safety and Health Administration] requirements.”
‘One-Source Solution’
The acquisition will extend Blast-One’s reach across the protective coatings industry. Tecor Finishing Solutions will soon change its name to Blast-One Industrial Solutions.
“Along with the natural connection Tecor Finishing Solutions provided with our line of industrial blast rooms, the acquisition now allows us to be a stronger contender by being able to offer a one-source solution—from blast rooms and dust collectors, to the spray painting areas and booths, even including automated powder coating lines,” said Blast-One vice president Brad Gooden.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Editor's Note (11.16.12): Due to incorrect information provided to PaintSquare, an earlier version of this story incorrectly reported that Blast-One intended to purchase RoboVent, not just the Tecor business.
