Waterjet manufacturer Jet Edge and coatings maker Hempel USA have both added key figures to their sales teams.
Jet Edge has appointed a new regional sales manager for the U.S. North Central region, while Hempel has added to its marine coatings team in the Gulf region.
Jet Edge Appoints Callahan
Ben Callahan has been appointed North Central regional sales manager at Jet Edge, which manufactures ultra-high pressure waterjet and abrasivejet systems for precision cutting, coating removal and surface preparation.
Callahan is responsible for Jet Edge waterjet equipment sales and application support in Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin.

Callahan has been with Jet Edge since 2001, serving as a service engineer and waterjet applications lab engineer in positions that directly support customers. Jet Edge says its customers will benefit from Callahan’s “extensive product and applications knowledge.”
Callahan, who studied Machine Trades at Dunwoody Technical College in Minneapolis, is based at Jet Edge Headquarters in St. Michael, MN. He can be reached at 612.963.0933 or sales@jetedge.com.
Johnson Joins Hempel USA
Hempel USA, a global supplier of marine and protective coatings, has hired Jennifer Johnson as a sales representative in the U.S. Gulf region.
Johnson will be responsible for marine sales of Hempel’s product line in the territory. The company’s products include antifoulings and coatings for cargo and ballast tanks, cargo holds and shop primers.

A graduate of the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy with extensive industry experience, Johnson will be based at Hempel’s headquarters in Houston, TX.
