Binks has introduced the MX Lite 12:1 air-assisted airless spray package, a ready-to-spray outfit that couples the company’s new stainless steel MX412 Pump with its new AA1600M Air Assisted Airless Spray Gun.
Available as a tripod- or wall-mounted spray package, the MX Lite is designed “for excellent spray finishing results at a value price,” according to Binks.

Binks MX Lite outfits are designed to provide a low-cost, industrial spray system that applies a wide range of industrial coatings at an optimum finish quality level in many applications, including aerospace, aviation, off-road and metal fabrication. The patented magnetic detent design creates a quick stroke changeover with no pulse or surge.
Features and Performance
The MX Lite uses a stainless steel system—pump, gun and hoses—to handle both solvent- and waterborne coatings. Modular construction makes maintenance easier and faster, with less downtime and reduced running costs, according to Binks. The self-adjusting spring-loaded packings have a large sight glass for visual packing inspection.
The Binks AA1600M air assist airless spray gun has an ergonomic design and lighter trigger pull. HVLP or LVMP air caps are designed to deliver a soft, fine spray for high transfer efficiency and finish results. Flat, fine and twist tips are available in a wide range of sizes.
