Live webcam, a show app, web updates and complete video and print coverage will follow thousands of attendees, more than 100 exhibitors and all the action at SSPC 2012, set to begin Monday (Jan. 30) in Tampa, FL.

This year’s SSPC show will feature a packed Technical Program with scores of sessions, committee meetings, SSPC’s annual meeting, and the annual Structure Awards.
For the first time, Technology Publishing/PaintSquare will capture all of the action with live webcam on the show floor, a new SSPC Show Page on paintsquare.com; and comprehensive coverage in print and online through PaintSquare News, paintsquare.com and JPCL, the voice of the SSPC.

Online Show Portal
PaintSquare’s Guide to SSPC 2012 is a new portal to comprehensive coverage of the show, featuring a Twitter feed (#sspc2012); a live webcam from the Technology Publishing/PaintSquare booth (640); articles before, during and after the show; and links to exhibit and registration information, the daily schedule, and training and certification opportunities at the show.
Technology Publishing will also provide video services for the show, and PaintSquare News will offer both editorial and promotional opportunities for additional video coverage.

Exhibitors and Updates
More than 100 exhibitors have signed up for this year’s show. The line-up includes suppliers of coatings and raw materials; blast media and equipment reps; providers of environmental equipment, products and services; health and safety suppliers; containment systems and coatings application equipment providers; associations; painting contractors; and more.
SSPC maintains an updated exhibitor list on its website.

SSPC, JPCL Awards
As always, a highlight of the show will be the SSPC and JPCL awards, which will be presented Monday (Jan. 30) at the annual business meeting and luncheon.

Among the 2012 honors and recipients:
• Honorary Life Member Award: Joseph Brandon, QualityFirst Consultants LLC;
• John D. Keane Award of Merit: Allan DeLange, North American Coatings, CL Division;
• Technical Achievement Award: Alfred Beitelman, U.S. Army Construction Engineering Research Lab;
• Coatings Education Award: Ernst Toussaint, The Sherwin-Williams Company; and
• President’s Lecture Award: Bobby W. Meade, Greenman Pedersen Inc.; and Sudhir Palle and Theodore Hopwood II, both of the University of Kentucky.
The envelope containing the winners of the JPCL Editors’ Awards and the Outstanding Publication Award will remain firmly sealed until Monday.
