Equipment Development Co. Inc. (EDCO), a provider of surface preparation equipment, has introduced a new Hand-Held Saw that can cut through concrete, masonry, asphalt, stone and metal.

The saw features the industry’s most powerful motor, with a maximum cutting depth of six inches, EDCO says. The unit can be used to cut window, door and skylight openings. If equipped with an abrasive blade and larger flange, it is suitable for metal cutting as well.
Technology, Options
Like the company’s Hand-Held Core Drills, the 16-inch, 25-pound saw features CARDI Smart Electronic Technology, designed to protect motors against overload, ensure smooth starts, and provide added electrical safety.
The saw has both an optional Wheel Kit and optional Flush Cut Accessory Kit.
Designed to be fast, economic, easy to use, dust-free and precise, the saw can be plugged into a regular 20AMP outlet. There are no hydraulic hoses, fluids, gasoline or exhaust fumes.
