Blastrac has just added a heavy-duty dust collection system for multiple uses that is designed for durability and power, yet is “remarkably quiet.”
Built mainly of steel, the BDC-1330DBP is a powerful industrial vacuum suitable for contractors who must use a dust collection system to satisfy environmental concerns. The advanced unit helps eliminate most of the airborne dust and particulate generated with grinding and polishing equipment.
Nearly six feet tall, 280 pounds and sporting a 30-foot power cord, the system is “tough, damage resistant and constructed for professional use,” Blastrac says.

The BDC-1330DBP offers high performance with relatively low energy consumption, according to Blastrac.
The top panel includes filter indicator lights; an emergency stop button; and indicator lights that show low air pressure, when the dustbin is full, and when the main, second and third motors are running.
The system includes an electrical overload safety and a quick-release-and-attach dust bin with a capacity of 143 pounds for debris disposal. Filters can be easily replaced to ensure long life through the fully automatic, air-pulsed cleaning system, while the ergonomic design eases maneuverability with large wheels and two swiveling/locking casters, the manufacturer says.
The three-speed motor produces a maximum air flow of 265 cfm, with a maximum static pressure of 85.
