SSPC: The Society for Protective Coatings has launched its new website, designed to provide easier navigation, faster downloads and searches, and cleaner interface.
The new www.sspc.org includes organization news and technical features and will soon include certification news. Home-page tabs offer easy access to training courses, QP programs, events, standards and the SSPC MarketPlace.
Current highlights include:
• Easier downloads of standards for members;
• Simple online registration for training courses;
• Streamlined account management and password retrieval;
• Integrated social media;
• Quicker membership director search; and
• Quicker certified contractor search.
SSPC plans to launch customizable Chapter pages and committee management on the site this summer.
Log-In Changes
The site includes changes to how users log in. All users’ old login information is no longer valid. Users should receive log-in information and a temporary password by email. For questions, contact Terry Sowers, director of member services, at sowers@sspc.org.
Once users are logged in with their new information, they will have access to the privileges that accompany their account. For example, members will automatically see member pricing on MarketPlace items, have complete access to free standards downloads, and be able to access Members Only content.
