XIM Products Inc. has reformulated and updated two of its stain-blocking primers and sealers: X-Seal™ and Prime Start.
X-Seal is a solvent-based primer, sealer and stain blocker, manufactured to seal most interior and exterior water- and smoke-damaged substrates. Compatible with oil alkyd and latex topcoats, X-Seal is wallpaper strippable and dries in 30 minutes. At <350g/l VOC, X-Seal cleans up with mineral spirits.
Prime Start is a water-based, stain-blocking primer, recommended for new construction and repainting. Prime Start primes, seals and prepares most interior and exterior surfaces for oil alkyd or latex topcoats. At <100g/l VOC, Prime Start cleans up with soap and water and is low odor.
Both X-Seal and Prime Start are white in color and MPI GPS-1 Green Certified.
