The Scottish Arab
An Arab sheik was admitted to the hospital for heart surgery. Before the operation, the doctors sought extra blood of his rare type.
When none could be found locally, a wider call went out.
Finally, authorities located a Scotsman with a similar blood type who willingly donated his blood.
After the surgery, the Arab sent the Scot a new BMW, diamonds and cash to show his appreciation.
A couple days later, the Arab unexpectedly needed more surgery. Without hesitation, the Scot again rolled up his sleeve.
After that operation, the Scotsman received a thank-you card and a box of chocolates from the Arab.
Surprised at the token gesture, the Scot phoned the Arab: “I thought you would be generous again! The first time, you gave me a car, jewels and money!”
To which the Arab replied: "Aye, laddie, but I now have Scottish blood in ma veins."
