The Matchmaker
John the Matchmaker goes to meet Mr. Smith, who has been a bachelor for many years.
“I have someone who is just perfect for you!” says John. “Say yes and I’ll arrange for you to meet her. Before you know it, you’ll be married!”
“Please don’t bother,” replies Mr. Smith, “I have two sisters at home who take care of all my needs.”
“Well, that’s good,” says John, “but all the sisters in the world cannot fill the role of a wife.”
“I didn’t say they were my sisters!”
