Responsibilities:

Assists in the Preparation of surfaces for the application of protective coatings such as paints t-pipes, valves, structures and vessels as required in maintenance of oilfield facilities.

May be tasked to perform various manual, unskilled, and/or skilled tasks as required in support of Maintenance Operations.

Responsible for assisting blasting and coating of the internal/external parts of various vessels and tanks to client specifications.

Assists in the abrasive blasting of surface areas to be coated.

May perform heavy labor such as shoveling up sandblast media, lift sand blast media bags.

May assist in the hand excavation of ditches to perform coating inspections on buried pipelines.

May assist with the installation of piping spools/valve installations and removal, rigging, and blinding.

Erect scaffolding working with qualified scaffold builder.

May be required to drive crew cab pickups, flatbed pickup.
