.TAD PGS, INC. is seeking an FAA - Painter Lv2 for one of our aerospace partners in Tulsa, OK. My client is stable, provides a great working environment and is offering the opportunity of a contract that may lead into a direct hire role. Pay Rate: $11.50 - $13.41/hr Work Shift: 1st shift, Mon-Fri. 6 am - 2:30 pm Training will be on the job during first shift hours Length of Contract: 6 months with opportunity for hire
This is an FAA safety sensitive position; you will have to pass a 7 year background check and a DOT/FAA Drug Screen. We will also need you to provide a physical copy of your HS Diploma or GED Certificate, if you are chosen for hire. Must be an US citizen/permanent resident.
Job Overview:
The Lv2 Painter operates a spray painter to apply industrial paint finishes on metal products. He or she relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. This position performs a variety of tasks, and works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Responsibilities: Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent.May have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty.May require 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Previous painting/coating experience preferred.Knowledge of paint specifications preferred.Experience with hand tools, pneumatic tools, sanding, grinding, masking etc.Steel Toes are required.
