AD Fire Protection Systems which is part of the Carboline Company, a world leading supplier of high performance coatings, linings and fireproofing, is seeking a hands-on, self-motivated individual to fill an immediate opening for a Fireproofing / Firestopping Sales Specialist ideally located in Toronto, Canada. This position will require travel throughout Western Canada (Manitoba to British Columbia).
The ideal candidate will possess a 4 Year Business or Technical degree or equivalent experience and 3-7 years Fireproofing and/or Firestopping sales experience.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited identifying target fireproofing accounts, developing fireproofing specifications, identifying suitable applicators/contractors for fireproofing projects, and developing a sales plan in conjunction with the Fireproofing National Sales Manager for expanding the sales of all fireproofing products within the assigned region. Other duties include setting up a training and approval program for applicators, providing technical assistance to customers including the identification and resolution of various problems, and monitoring and reporting competitor activity in the region.
